Business Continuity Management System Policy

Sharjah Asset Management (SAM) is a reputable Sharjah government innovative investment arm. SAM cultivates a deep-rooted strategy with the primary objective of investing in Sharjah's future, SAMH seeks to continue it vital works in normal circumstance and emergency cases and crisis to provide high quality of service.

Therefore, Sharjah Asset Management and subsidiaries is committed to implement, improve and maintain Business Continuity System as per the requirement of National Standard NCEMA 7000:2021 and internal standard ISO 22301:2019 that ensure continuity of services and meets the needs and requirements of customer and concerned parties without delay or impact resulting during crises or disaster.

To achieve this, Sharjah Asset Management is committed to:

Ensure implementation of Business Continuity System and determine vital activities, analysis, and evaluation of the requirements to ensure continuity of services and requirements to stakeholders and relevant parties are not affected, as per the requirements of NCEMA 7000:2021 and the requirements of ISO specification 22301:2022.

Compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements to ensure best practice of optimal use of available resources.

Identify potential operational risks and develop mitigation plans to prevent disruptive incidents and negative impact which result during crisis, evaluate the impact, and result that related to all relevant stakeholders.

Ensure continual review of business impact analysis, recovery strategy and continuity plan when change in management operation and service provided.

Employee commitment at all levels to perform the tasks assigned and implementation of all business continuity plans.

Continuous improvement through learning form successful experience, exercises, and relevant best practices & Provide training and awareness of BCMS.

Sharjah Asset Management ensures that the above business continuity management system policy is understood and implemented at various administrative and functional levels. It is also made available for review to relevant stakeholders, including employees, partners, suppliers, clients, and the community.
